New Regional Director For Volga Dnepr Subsidiary

Although Volga Dnepr launched operations with the An124 it has also branched out into the conventional aircraft business operating B747 freighters between the Far East and Europe.  This takes advantage of their geographical position as it enables them to fly the most direct routes across their home country of Russia.

the scheduled cargo airline of Volga-Dnepr Group is AirBridgeCargo Airlines who have recently appointed Ludwig Hamburger as regional director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Mr Hamburger has over 25 years of experience in the airline cargo industry, and prior to joining AirBridgeCargo, he was the regional manager of Europe for Air New Zealand.

Robert Song, commercial director of global operations at AirBridgeCargo, said: "The Europe-Middle East-Africa region is vital to the continued growth and development of AirBridgeCargo.
